How it works
You add Martia as a custom connector in ChatGPT's or Claude's own settings — not inside the Martia app. When the assistant asks for the connector address, paste https://martia.ai/api/mcp. Then you log in exactly the way you always do, through the same login screen, and confirm what you're allowing the assistant to do.
We use an open standard called MCP (Model Context Protocol) — the only time we'll use that abbreviation, because what matters to you is what it lets you do: ask about accounts, transactions, spending by category, a monthly summary, or net worth, and get an answer grounded in the real numbers on your account.
The same address works with any other agent that supports this standard, not only ChatGPT and Claude. The steps for both, plus the details for other agents, are in the guide at martia.ai/ai-assistants.
Read-only, and honest about where your data goes
The connection gives the assistant no way to change anything — it can't categorize a transaction, fix a description, or touch a budget. It can only answer questions, using the same data you see in the app.
Worth knowing plainly: if you connect Martia to ChatGPT or Claude, your transactions reach that assistant so it can answer your question. That's a deliberate choice you make yourself, in the assistant's own settings — and you can disconnect at any time, the same way you'd remove any other connector.
